Angleball

Angleball is a pool-inspired sports and strategy game built around a hexagonal table with six sides and six pockets. The unusual shape creates unpredictable rebounds, making shot direction, speed, and spin important factors.

The objective is to pot all the balls. A player who fails to pot a ball within three shots loses the frame, unless the opponent also fails to meet the requirement.

Game Modes

• One player: A sequence of 20 different table layouts, each requiring a distinct approach.
• Two players: Matches can use the built-in layouts or custom designs created with the table editor.

Angleball was released in 1986 for Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64, MSX, and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. It was developed by Barney and Ian Heath and published by MAD and Mastertronic Added Dimension.
