Army Men

Army Men is a mission-based combat game starring Sarge, a green plastic commando fighting a tan-colored toy army. Battles span varied terrain and feature bazookas, grenades, flamethrowers, mortars, automatic rifles, land mines, jeeps, and tanks.

Players can begin with eight boot camp training missions before choosing between desert and alpine campaigns. Each mission includes a briefing screen with objectives, while failure can result from exceeding the time limit, allowing the opposing force to win, or letting Sarge die.

Strategic maps, objective reviews, vehicle exit controls, adjustable controls, difficulty settings, and music options are available. Developed by Digital Eclipse Software, Inc. and published by The 3DO Company, Army Men was released for Nintendo Game Boy Color and PC (Microsoft Windows) on December 7, 1999.
