Carrier Air Wing

Carrier Air Wing is a side-scrolling flying shooter developed and published by Capcom. Players battle through stages while collecting money from defeated enemies, then use it to buy special weapons, energy, and shields at the beginning of each stage.

The game’s scenario follows the USS Carl Vinson as it confronts Rabu, a powerful Middle Eastern nation seeking to impose a new morality after expanding across the Middle East, southern Asia, and parts of Europe. Following a gas attack on Tokyo, U.S. intervention becomes unavoidable to prevent Rabu from gaining access to Japan’s manufacturing facilities.
