Action-strategy sequel featuring tournaments, raids, battles, and castle sieges
The briefing
In Defender of the Crown II, King Richard has been imprisoned while returning from the crusades. To secure his release, 20,000 pounds in ransom must be raised from the nobles of the land through tournaments, raids, and battles against individual provinces.
The sequel expands its arcade-style sequences with more methodical sword fighting, improved jousting control, and enhanced castle sieges featuring ammunition such as Greek fire. Nobles defend their wealth from fortified castles, making siege equipment an important part of the campaign.
