Dynasty Warriors 4: Empires

Dynasty Warriors 4: Empires blends the action of the Dynasty Warriors series with strategy-oriented gameplay similar to Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

In campaign mode, players choose from 24 regions and 42 rulers, with the option to create custom characters. Starting with a small kingdom, the objective is to conquer every other realm. Each turn presents four governing options from the player's generals, followed by one action, such as invading or defending a province or aiding an allied empire.

Released for PlayStation 2 on August 31, 2004, the game was developed by Omega Force and published by Koei.
