Fatal Frame

Fatal Frame follows Miku Hinasaki, a young girl with a strange sixth sense, as she searches a haunted mansion for her missing brother, Mafuyu. Armed only with an antique camera inherited from her deceased mother, Miku must confront the spirits haunting the estate.

The Camera Obscura is both Miku’s weapon and her key to survival. By keeping ghosts centered in view and taking photographs at the right moment, she can drain their energy and trap them on film. Captured spirit points can improve the camera or unlock abilities such as slowing ghosts and pushing them away.

Beyond combat, the camera can reveal hidden clues and dispel illusions, helping Miku solve puzzles throughout the mansion. Ghosts appear in many forms, from fleeting memories and invisible fragments to hostile apparitions that attack without warning.
