About this game

Frontier: Elite II is an open-ended space adventure and simulation game with no fixed plot, pre-scripted campaign, or defined victory condition. Players begin in the year 3200 as one of Commander Jameson's grandchildren, inheriting 100 credits and an Eagle Long Range Fighter.

From this modest starting point, players can explore space, trade legally or illegally, ferry passengers between systems, undertake freelance military missions, or engage in piracy. Military service is available through both the Federation and the Empire, whose independent promotion systems reflect their uneasy cease-fire and rivalry.

The game allows players to support either faction, both factions, or neither, leaving long-term goals and the path to success entirely up to the player.
