Go Slimey Go!, the colorful 2D precision platformer from Tembac and Chabbie Studio, is getting ready to make the leap from PC to consoles. ESDigital Games has taken on worldwide publishing duties for the game and will oversee its upcoming releases on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

The partnership also covers localization, worldwide marketing, and distribution, positioning the small but already recognized platformer for a much broader audience. A newly unveiled trailer accompanies the announcement, putting the focus back on Slimey's bouncy movement, bright pixel-art environments, and the fast, momentum-focused challenges players can expect when the game arrives on console platforms.

Go Slimey Go! is already available for PC through Steam, where it launched in December 2025. Versions for the Epic Games Store and GOG are also planned. No release date for the newly announced console editions has been confirmed.

A new publisher for Slimey's next jump

ESDigital Games will serve as the official global publisher for Go Slimey Go!, taking on responsibilities that extend beyond simply bringing the game to additional storefronts. Console publishing, regional localization, marketing, and distribution will all fall under the publisher's remit as the development team works to introduce Slimey to players outside the existing Steam audience.

That support is particularly meaningful for a game built around immediacy. Precision platformers can be easy to describe but difficult to make compelling: a responsive jump, clear visual feedback, readable hazards, and a reason to retry a tough section all have to work together. Go Slimey Go! is designed around movement that is approachable from the start, while leaving room for the careful timing and consistency that experienced players tend to seek from the genre.

"Go Slimey Go! is exactly the kind of game we love to champion: instantly charming, a fantastic visual identity, a brilliant soundtrack, and, most importantly, movement that simply feels good," said Ilia Svanidze of ESDigital Games.

Svanidze added that the team had already achieved notable results independently and that ESDigital Games sees an opportunity to take the game to a wider global audience. The console push will be the next major stage in that effort, although details such as timing, digital store availability, and potential platform-specific features have not been announced.

Five worlds of bouncing, sliding, and precision

Players control Slimey, a soft and determined little hero on a mission to reunite with friends. The adventure spans five handcrafted worlds, each providing room for exploration alongside the rapid platforming expected from a game in which momentum plays a central role.

Rather than treating movement as only a means of getting from one platform to another, Go Slimey Go! makes it the heart of its identity. Slimey bounces and slides through levels, with the feel of traversal intended to carry players through both the relaxed early discoveries and the more demanding precision challenges. The developers have paired that design with colorful pixel art and an energetic soundtrack, giving the game a playful exterior without removing the potential for difficult execution.

The stated aim is to welcome casual players while still rewarding genre veterans. That balance can be important for a title arriving on several console ecosystems, where the audience for platform games ranges from players looking for a cheerful, accessible adventure to speed-minded fans who enjoy learning routes and perfecting difficult movement sequences.

The new trailer offers another look at that foundation: rapid stages, lively environments, and a small protagonist whose squishy form is central to both the visual style and the sense of motion. It does not establish a release window for the console versions, but it gives prospective Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox players a clearer impression of the game that will be headed their way.

Tokyo Game Show 2026 playable appearance

Go Slimey Go! will also be present at Tokyo Game Show 2026, where it has been selected for the event's Selected Indie 80 program. Visitors will be able to try the game at booth E-08 in the Selected Indie Area, located in Hall 9 on the second floor.

The Selected Indie 80 placement gives the title a prominent opportunity to reach attendees ahead of its console debut. For an action platformer, a hands-on showing is especially useful: trailers can communicate art direction and pace, but the appeal of a momentum-led game ultimately depends on how its controls feel when players start bouncing, sliding, and adjusting their approach to hazards.

The Tokyo Game Show appearance also arrives after a stretch of recognition for the project. Its Steam release currently carries a "Very Positive" user rating, with 99% positive user reviews cited for the game. Community reception does not necessarily predict how a title will perform across every platform, but it provides a positive starting point as the developers and publisher prepare the next phase of release plans.

An award-recognized indie platformer

Go Slimey Go! has accumulated attention well before its planned console launch. The game was a finalist for Best Game at gamescom latam 2026, following earlier award success and showcase appearances that helped establish its profile within Latin American game development circles.

  • It won Best Game at Indie Dev Argentina 2025.
  • It received the Press Award at EVA 2025.
  • It placed third in the Best Mobile Game category at GWDC.
  • It appeared in the Latin American Games Showcase in both 2024 and 2025.

That history reflects a long runway for a project now preparing for a much larger platform footprint. It is also worth noting that, despite its recognition in a mobile-game award category, the announced release platforms in this update are PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. A mobile release has not been announced.

For Tembac and Chabbie Studio, the publishing agreement should allow the team to concentrate on development as Slimey expands beyond PC. Agustín Pérez Fernández, one of Go Slimey Go!'s creators, described the collaboration as a new beginning for the character's journey and said the team was excited to reach console players and new regions.

"Partnering with ESDigital Games means Slimey's journey is a new beginning," Pérez Fernández said. "We're thrilled to see the game reach console players and new regions while we focus on what we do best -- making Slimey bounce."

What console players should expect

The confirmed console list covers both current and previous-generation PlayStation and Xbox hardware, alongside Nintendo Switch. That means players on PS4 and Xbox One will not be left behind as the game arrives on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. At present, however, there are no announced details on cross-buy, cross-save, physical editions, performance targets, pricing, or whether the different console versions will launch simultaneously.

PC remains the only currently available version, via Steam. The planned Epic Games Store and GOG releases broaden the PC roadmap, while the Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox editions mark the first confirmed expansion of the game to dedicated console platforms.

Go Slimey Go! therefore has a busy period ahead: a new global publishing partnership, a fresh trailer, a Tokyo Game Show 2026 showing, and console editions in development. Players interested in pixel-art platformers with an emphasis on fluid traversal now have several versions to watch for, even if the exact dates for those releases are still to come.

Until then, the central promise remains straightforward. Slimey is small, squishy, and determined; the levels are built to make every bounce count; and the next stop for the upbeat platforming adventure will be Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox.
