HITMAN World of Assassination has brought digital entertainment creator Jacksepticeye, also known as Seán McLoughlin, into Agent 47's world as the star of a new Elusive Target. Called The Host, the mission casts McLoughlin as Finn Colton, a hugely wealthy, divisive online personality who broadcasts his life continuously from an isolated content-production compound in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand.
The limited-time Elusive Target is live from October 29, 2026 through November 25, 2026. It can be played at no extra cost in-game, and is also included through the game's Free Demo. Players will need access to the Hawke's Bay destination in order to take on the assignment.
Alongside the time-limited operation, a broader Season of The Host roadmap is now underway, adding challenges, Featured Contracts, Twitch rewards, returning Elusive Targets, and a Special Assignment. IO Interactive has also released The Host Pack, a paid DLC bundle designed to make key pieces of the collaboration permanently accessible.
A livestream empire becomes Agent 47's latest hunting ground
Finn Colton, who uses the online name Finnvictus, is not simply another public figure who has caught the attention of the ICA. He is suspected of involvement in the disappearance of a contract worker, setting the stage for 47's intervention. Colton's remote Hawke's Bay facility serves as the backdrop for the mission, with the target's every move shaped by his need to remain visible to his online audience.

The premise leans directly into the tension between a performer's cultivated public image and the practical vulnerabilities it creates. Colton's around-the-clock livestream lifestyle means he is surrounded by equipment, staff, production spaces, and the kind of self-made spectacle that can give a resourceful assassin many ways to infiltrate and manipulate the environment.
For this operation, 47 enters the compound using one of his familiar cover identities: Tobias Rieper. The alias gets him a place as a guest on the Finn and Friends podcast, allowing him to move closer to Colton under the pretense of participating in the host's content machine. The setup should be especially fitting for HITMAN's social-stealth design, where access, disguises, routines, and improvised opportunities are as important as the final elimination itself.
"I've been playing HITMAN with my community for years, so getting to actually step into the World of Assassination is unreal," McLoughlin said. "Finn is loud, paranoid, and completely obsessed with content, and playing him was an absolute blast. I can't wait to see all the creative ways you take him down, so make sure you're recording it!"
The invitation to record eliminations feels particularly appropriate for an Elusive Target built around a creator whose fictional life revolves around broadcasting. As usual, the appeal of the format is likely to come from discovering clever routes and distinctive takedowns within a narrow time window. Players will need to be careful, though: Elusive Targets traditionally place extra weight on planning and execution, making each attempt matter far more than in a standard repeatable mission.
The Host is free for a limited time, including through the Free Demo
The Host will remain available until November 25, 2026. During that period, it is free to access in-game and through the Free Demo on a wide collection of systems. The mission is available across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR2, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, ROG Xbox Ally X, ROG Xbox Ally, PC, PC VR, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, iPhone, iPad, and Apple silicon Mac.
That broad platform rollout means the event reaches both conventional console and PC audiences as well as VR, portable PC, Nintendo, and Apple players. It also gives newcomers using the Free Demo a chance to sample a major live-content event rather than being limited only to a static introductory experience.
There is one important requirement for anyone looking to play: Hawke's Bay access is necessary. Since the Elusive Target takes place at that location, players should confirm that their edition or setup includes the destination before preparing for the mission.
The Season of The Host adds more than one contract
The new seasonal roadmap expands beyond Finn Colton's limited appearance. The Host arrives with a Special Assignment, additional Featured Contracts, one new unlock challenge, a Twitch Drop, and several returning Elusive Targets. For players who regularly return to HITMAN World of Assassination's evolving live-content schedule, the result is a larger batch of objectives tied together by the new collaboration.
The Special Assignment, called The Host Assignment, includes five challenges. It gives the collaboration a component with a more lasting structure than the standard window for the Elusive Target itself. In addition, players who take on The Host while using an IOI Account will unlock The Hijacker Duck, providing a further incentive to link an account before starting the mission.
A new challenge titled Like Mist is also part of the season. Completing it awards the Vampire Magician Suit, an appropriately theatrical cosmetic for 47's ever-growing wardrobe. Featured Contracts are arriving as well, offering community-oriented objectives and new reasons to revisit the game's sandbox locations.
Players watching HITMAN streams can pursue the new Royal Purple Banana Twitch Drop. Meanwhile, three previous Elusive Targets are returning during the season: The Pharmacist, The Warlord, and The Entertainer. Their inclusion makes this a useful period for players hoping to tackle older high-profile contracts alongside the Jacksepticeye collaboration.
The Host Pack brings permanent missions and creator-themed equipment
While The Host itself is an Elusive Target with a defined availability period, The Host Pack is intended for players who want permanent access to related content. The DLC launched on October 29, 2026 with a recommended retail price of $7.99 / EUR7.99 / £6.99.
There is a different release date for Nintendo platforms. The Host Pack will arrive on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on November 10, 2026. No change has been announced for the limited-time mission window, but players interested specifically in the paid pack on either Nintendo system should keep that later date in mind.
The bundle includes permanent access to The Collab, an Arcade contract featuring The Host Elusive Target. Elusive Target Arcade contracts offer a more enduring way to engage with targets and scenarios that would otherwise be tied to a short-lived event, so this should be the central addition for anyone who does not want Finn Colton's appearance to disappear after November.
The pack also provides permanent access to The Host Assignment, the Special Assignment featuring Finn Colton. Its full contents include:
- Permanent access to The Collab, an Arcade contract featuring The Host Elusive Target
- Permanent access to The Host Assignment Special Assignment
- The Thought Leader Suit with Gloves
- The Persona "Suit"
- Demon Dakota 12G
- DXTR PlayFactory Controller
- Creator Soundboard
- Kwineeny Collectible
The equipment list continues the collaboration's creator-focused tone, from the controller and soundboard to the collectible and the two new outfit options. HITMAN's unlocks are often as much about playful role-playing and experimentation as raw utility, and these additions appear built to give players more ways to turn 47 into part of the fictional influencer ecosystem surrounding Colton.
A fitting crossover for HITMAN's evolving World of Assassination
HITMAN World of Assassination has increasingly used Elusive Targets, Arcade missions, seasonal roadmaps, and crossover events to keep its densely detailed assassination sandboxes active. The Host continues that strategy by pairing a recognizable creator with a target designed around a contemporary online-media persona, then supporting the event with both free seasonal objectives and optional permanent DLC.
For players, the immediate priority is straightforward: The Host is playable only from October 29 to November 25, 2026, and Hawke's Bay access is required. Beyond that deadline, The Host Pack offers a route back into the collaboration through The Collab Arcade contract and The Host Assignment, while the wider season provides plenty of extra reasons to return to 47's world.
HITMAN World of Assassination is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR2, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, ROG Xbox Ally X, ROG Xbox Ally, PC, PC VR, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, iPhone, iPad, and Apple silicon Mac.
